We picked up a goose with side dishes because the restaurant is closed due to Corona. The reception from Barbara was very friendly and you immediately filled yourself up. Since the exact instructions for the meal were enclosed, nothing could go wrong. Very well done. The food was excellent and we enjoyed the evening. It won't stay that way the first time. We'll be happy to pick up our dinner again. Thank you for the friendly conversation and the good advice.

You know that it tastes good! Lunch is available for EUR 9.90, changing weekly, not on weekends and public holidays. Always several to choose from, including a vegetarian one. Very pleasant place. There is more than enough parking space.

Was there to celebrate a baptism. The food is really first class ? and the service is very open, nice and funny. The drinks, if I am not mistaken about the brewery buyer, are highly recommended. Especially the duck beer and the cherry schnapps

Very warm welcome and service. The meal is good and plentiful. The setting is bucolic. Many dishes are made with duck, of course! It's simple but effective. We will come back to that.

I can highly recommend the restaurant! All tables were cleaned perfectly and the chairs were extremely comfortable. We were completely blown away. Good price-performance ratio.In the restaurant you get both: friendly and fast service.

Great eatery and delicious food

Delicious, especially when you know where the duck comes from. Everything else was great too. And friendly. Not our last visit.

Disappointing. Rode my bike there at 6 p.m., have a drink, maybe a salad .. Nothing there! Everything reserved outside. 6 tables free, but no. No question about whether you just want to drink something, maybe only until 7 p.m. So much flexibility and creativity cannot be expected. Especially not in this crisis in gastronomy. You need the energy to whine and complain. But thanks! We drove on to Café Coté Canal in Grosblie. Also well attended, but flexible. We'll be going there in the future.

Was only there 2 times, despite Corona very attentive service. Had a cherry cake and coffee. And some soft drinks. You can sit outside under old trees. The first time I had some of the duck and it was very good. Just go there and enjoy. ??

Very tasty home-style food from the region. You sit very comfortably and in a pleasant atmosphere. The service is okay even when there is a lot of traffic and not stressed. There are regional beers and the duck is on the menu several times. So the restaurant lives up to its name. You can also take a leisurely excursion there by bike right on the Saar. I will gladly come again.

It was my first time there and I thought that was pretty good. There are some dishes made from duck and the ambience is also nice. The outside terrace is very inviting, in the evening the trees are beautifully lit. One star deduction, because my duck was unfortunately tough, but the price for it was reasonable. If I come again, I'll order something different. As a recommendation to the landlord - maybe you can do better with the wasps in summer, that would be great. And, most of the manuals were very nice, but one lady was a bit pushy. Not everyone likes that.

The same dish tastes noticeably different. The same cook is not always in the kitchen here. The service very intrusive. The glass is still half full, she comes up asking if you want to order a coffee. The menu is still in hand, it comes within a few minutes asking 3 times if you want to order. Often she bursts into our conversation and talks about her biology studies, about the rich friend who can't handle money, about the rickety car, about the condominium, about the purchase of a new kitchen and that the customer is not king. All this manner of the staff shows the poor management of the place. Since the change of the excellent chef a few years ago, this restaurant has lost some of its quality, both in the kitchen and in the service. Not what it used to be.

The food was very tasty. Unfortunately the staff seemed a bit scattered today. When the food came to the table, we ordered salt and pepper. But then it was not brought, and instead two tables were cleared. Since the operation was limited, that could have waited. Instead we waited for the spices and then ate without them.

Very welcoming staff, the menu card is also friendly. Nice place to spend a little time under the big trees. Good value for money. To discover.

Delicious food, a nice outdoor beer garden, but definitely not aimed at vegetarians let alone vegans. For vegetarians there is delicious food but only a small selection with about 3-5 dishes. The food arrives quickly and the waiters are very friendly. But it is a little macabre to see children feeding and petting ducks and geese and people eating duck 10 meters away ...

very delicious lunch and nice service

After my girlfriend and I were not served in another restaurant, we decided to go to the Wild Duck. We still had our dog with us, this was absolutely no problem. The staff behaved like animals and sat down at a table where few people passed (was busy that day) so that the dog could lie relaxed. I can only say absolute world-class service. After feeling less than 10 minutes we had the drinks and even the food. That's just great! I have never seen such quick service. It was also positive that the staff came over several times and inquired whether everything was OK. The food was delicious and reasonable for the price. The portions definitely fill you up. During the settlement it was apologized that the order was not so quick. No idea how to order faster but okay :) For me there were no negative points, I was completely satisfied and will definitely eat here more often.

Fantastic place. The place was fully booked because of a regional event, yet I fit my order writing 2 minutes. Smart and well organized kitchen. Very tasty regional food and beer and most importantly super friendly staff! If you're in the area it's a must!

A typical farm-like ambiente, very cozy and easy to find. The half duck was delicious, crispy and to the Point with a beautiful gravy and the BEST Rotkohl i have eaten so far. Affordable prices and pleasant waiters. Fully deserves 5 Stars.
